Reflection in secondary now looking like this with paper removed.

Edit: Focusser seems to be square as well.

Sometimes when you take a pic. it puts the angle off. So am i seeing the secondary under the focuser slightly too low ?  the gap is smaller at the bottom. in that pic. if its just the camera angle great. If not because your spider tolerance is so good. maybe your focuser needs to be loosened slightly and raised up or is not square. But we are getting closer the left and right under the focuser looks good. your doing good. More feedback on the points raised

Yes new pics added the top image does look more central under the focuser. The twist mentioned earlier still seems there, perhaps but its starting to look better to me. How is the primary looking inside the secondary. is the secondary edge concentric with the primary edge. is it a complete circle ? i cant see

Knew I overlooked something. I'll take a look at that in the morning.

I have just had the scope outside though just to see how things are, quick look at M42, double cluster as quick targets but one diffuse and one pinpoint - I'm getting pretty good images, even without any real cool down time, which is a relief after the state I got the secondary in to.

Edit: Yes mirror clips look pretty much spot on to my eye.
