M109--start of a long road

Even though I shot these subs on teh same night directly after shooting flats for the lum of M1 subs--withough changing anything, the flats are no good.  Dust bunnies are in places that are nowhere near where they are on the flats.  How can this be?  Two nights in a row this happened.  I shot M1 lum subs, took flats that work perfectly for M1, then shot M109 and the flats on both ights are bad.  Fortunately I was able to stretch them away.  The FWHM for the M1 linear stack was 2.1',  This one is about 2.5".  I need more, for sure.  Does anybody know if this galaxy has a strong Ha signal....is it wotrth doing a HaLRGB?

423 30 sec Lum subs, bined 2x2 - minimal processing after stretching.  A bit of noise suppression on the background so I caould drop the black point without clipping.
