Tycho and Clavius 13th January

Finally got around to processing this from the 13th, best 30% from 5000 frames with a 290mm through a C9.25. While processing I was reading tips on imaging as I didn't feel I was getting enough out of my set up and realised I had been doing it wrong! I had been keeping the gain as low as possible and lengthening the exposure instead of the other way around. Will have to try the proper way next time!

Its incredibly addictive,I always think I'll just do a region but then think ’that bits interesting too' and end up doing the whole moon! Luckily the clouds saved me this time.
