My first real attempt at a DSO.

M3 Globular Cluster, 37 frames out of 40, stacked in Registax, Photoshopped with Noels Actions, taken through the 127 f/6.3 refractor.

For some unknown reason, I did not centre the glob before imaging...... I think the cold got to me!

Who cares whether it's centred or not, that's an absolute corker. Well focused and a real sense of depth. Fantastic 1st DSO. What exposure time did you use?

Thanks chaps and chapess!

The exposure's were 30 seconds each, which I think was about right, but perhaps needed a few more - ?
