Hi All,

This morning there was a Tatooine-esque sunrise here (not to mention the water!) due to the calima:

1/125s ISO-100 f/5.6

One of the (few) good things about having so much dust in the atmosphere is that you can get sunspots by simply using a telephoto lens:

 1/2500s ISO-100 f/5.6

The gear:

  • Canon EFS 55-250mm
  • Canon EOS 600D astromodified

The software:

  • RawTherapee
  • The Gimp
