Removing dust...

My scope appears to be gathering a fair amount of dust. What is the best way to remove this?

Other than gathering on the lens, I've also got a quite a lot of dust gathering in the diagonal.

Try not to touch the optics. I find a puffer brush (not the compressed air type) works quite well to shift dust. Keep the optics capped when not in use. Don't be tempted to wipe the optics, even with an optical cloth.

You can have a fair build up of dust without it really affecting the performance noticably.
