Its interesting. i can imagine imaging jupiter and mars this year with 12" F5 stella lyra dob. On this for around £1200 In the right hands amazing things could be done. The motor looks like the economy motor on my EQ2 i suspect a weak link. But to allow imaging with 12" optics For £1200 is tempting to me

Of all the scopes I'm looking at, the StellaLyra 12" f5 keeps grabbing my attention.

Once I figure out how to easily lift the tube, I think that's where I'll be going  At the moment I'm thinking strap of some sort around the middle.
