Just had a look issue 2 is £6.99 plus £0.99 p and p call it £8 and there are 52 issues which is over £400 I just do not understand why anyone buys these type of magazines but each to their own.

I've just subscribed to the orbiter also! First that I'd heard of either series! Slightly annoyed that subscribers have got to wait until April to get any issues, but hey ho....I'm very impatient

how is this different from the orrery that others are building (which I guess must be nearly finished...)

The orrery has got all of the planets, where as this just shows the earth, sun and moon, as well as seasons and days I think....

aaaah. it wd be cool if the sun glowed and illuminated the earth and the moon. presumably, it doesn't do eclipses ?

To all of you who have subscribed, I was missing Issues 6 and 7, apparently they have been delayed, so dont despair!

I received 8,9,10 and 11 today, without the other 2. After ringing customer services they told me they were delayed and its the same for everyone! They will be here shortly.

I got issues 8 - 11 today as well, do me a favour? Issue 8 is meant to come with 6 Steel Bearings.. Mine didnt does yours?

I got 8 - 11 today and it included the steel bearings

The steel bearings for issue 8 are in a seperate little plastic bag packed loose with everything else. I almost threw them in the bin with the grey plastic bag but at the last second realised there was something tucked away in one corner of the bag.

It does look very nice but wouldn't be easier to just buy one rather than wait a whole year to receive all the parts?
