Agreed its been particularly bad lately Pete. Lets hope for some clear nights soon.

Great images - would love to be able to capture that level of detail myself.
 

On the weather front, you are right, it’s looking a little better but ironically the moonless clear night predicted below is just before I’m due back at work. 🙄 I might just have to be a little more tired and grumpy than usual on a first day back after a break 😂

Some clear spells here tonight. Right when i am not in the mood for astronomy lol. New years and all.
