Happy Half Hour!!

A morning like this is why I'm so glad I have binoculars (Canon 15 x 50 IS).  I've been doing lots of astrophotography recently and to immerse myself in a visual experience, visiting old friends was very comforting.

Up early just after 5 and looked out.  Unexpectedly clear as!  Checked moon/dawn etc. on Sky Safari.  Half hour window 

Coffee then garden chair and warm clothes.

Started with M81, 82, 101 and 51.  Smudges but with shape/form.

NGC 7789, M52, NGC663, Double Cluster, Kembles Cascade, M38, 37, 36, 35.  Beehive, M65, 66.

Globulars M3, 5 and 53.

Than it was time for a pint of tea

Binoculars, fantastic!

Sounds great Paul. As you say using binoculars can be very enjoyable

Very nice session. Must be fun using image stabilised binoculars. 🙂
