Are kg counterweights better than lb ones for example

Some people do have great skills of imagination and knocking together a phrase or two for our enjoyment. Similarly imaginative, if a little more toilet/schoolboy humour, are ones for Veet hair removal and 'agent Picolax'.

If there is found to be any difference in performance, I believe Losmandy sell an imperial<>metric counterweight adapter.
To obviate any issues with units that might be caused by the weight of the adapter itself, they managed to source some massless alloy for its manufacture.
