Yep, I'm going to need a little help on this one......

I've just seen something really odd while setting up an imaging run, an apparently moving large dust mote.

Before I explain more, has anybody else ever seen or had a dust move moving around on their screen?  

I've got pics, but this is one of the more bizarre things I have ever seen while doing this, and I cant come to a reasonable or even feasible explanation. Help!

yes I've had that. i think it was a very short and fine piece of hair possibly off the cat. must have got there when changing the clip-in filter on my canon dslr. each time the shutter triggered, it moved around.

The odd thing for my setup, was no moving parts. If it was warmer I would have assumed an insect was on the objective and moving around, but it was quite cold and I scanned the tube inside and out with a bright light to see if there was anything like that, a spider or something, but no, completely clean.
