Planning a Session With the 250mm

Recommended Posts

Following on from the fainter doubles topic, I've started planning some sessions. It became clear that once you went beyond small apertures and such as the Cambridge Double Star Atlas, there is so much more to see. So much more that you have to confine yourself to small parts of the sky.

Below is one I've prepared for Aries. The field size isn't that large, but as you can see there is a lot more than one session just in this small area.

Ignore the colours, that's my code for separation. Same for the letters - 'F' indicates a secondary below mag12.0 and 'VF' below mag13.0.  I've added some tight ones in there as a test. I've split 0.7" easily with the C9.25 so expect the same for the 250mm - the 0.5" might be more of a challenge.

I don't think I'm ever going to run out of targets!
