Recommendations for some budget bins?

I'm after some bins, as I think they would be really useful.

Nothing more powerful than x10, as I don't want to mount them on anything.

Anyone used these:

I'm afraid I have not used either of these binoculars,so I cant be of much help.

Depending on your age,exit pupil will play a part in this. The 10x50's would give you 5mm and the 8x56's would be 7mm.

Younger eyes would be fine with the 7mm exit pupil. If you are in the late 50's like me,then 7mm is no good and I would be waisting a lot of the light. Check out the Actual FOV also. Which would you want?

The 8x56's would be easier to hold steady. The 10x50's could have aperture masks to cut down on CA. I'm not totally sure on this. Steve at FLO could be more help on that one.

I have dealt with Steve at FLO and have always been happy with the service. I've never dealt with Scopenskies.
