CTA 1 Supernova Remnant near NGC 40.

Faint!

Stir crazy, so 63 (from 71) x 300s under a 3/4 illuminated moon.  RASA 8, ASI2600MC, NBZ dual band filter.  DSS and PS.

Extends from mid top down anti-clockwise past NGC 40 all the way to the bottom right.

Am sure this would work well as a new moon target.

Excellent!  The forum is a great place of discovery. 

Plenty of room on the APS-C chip for framing.

Indeed, a single RASA8/2600 panel will do it justice if carefully centred like your example, unlike the Veil or Spaghetti Nebula.

Imaged last month, NGC 40 was the main target, but managed to capture some remnant in the background.
