spent the last 20 minuites of last night session viewing the moon , just as i was about to call it a night a small dark object traveled slowly across my field of view i was only able to notice it because of the moons glare any idea as to what it could have been

could it be the shadow of a satellite? I have no idea, I'm just guessing.

I had an SAS plane fly across the moon as I was looking at it last night - freaky!

id guess at a satalitte, just because they're not illuminated by the sun doesn't mean they dont still pass over. on the other hand it could have been something small but fairly close to you being blown across you're view. last summer i saw what appeared to be a giant fly crossing the moon when i was using bins !

best sight ever was the classic geese flying across it last november
