SCT Collimation

This is a stack of 100 frames of an out of focus star with my C9.25 SCT.  Seeing was poor and my star was almost near the zenith.  I have been trying to get a handle on my collimation any comments would be appreciated.

That looks pretty good to me. The next step is, in excellent seeing, get a star in focus at high power and see how even the diffraction rings are.

Yes you need good seeing to do a worthwhile star test. If seeing isn’t good the image you see can be distorted and not accurate.

This was taken with a x2 barlow so its a a reasonably high power . I was a bit shocked at all the dust on my barlow so a bit of a clean needed.
