Yes Paul just be observing with the PST+DS. The two Proms on the SE side are really worth a look. The long filament is really sharp using the Double Stack. A bit of Plage around AR 2896 and 2897 but too much.

Thanks for the heads up yesterday Paul. Main filament was still dark and prominent today. Looked like it would form a vast arch if we were seeing it as a prominence.

Thanks Mark.  It is a nice prom isn't it - had cloud today. I do the same when there are nice big filaments, thinking how they might look if they were near the limb 😊.
