Looking for recommendations

Hi Guys 

I’m new to star gazing but I have always had a passion for it. I’m looking for recommendations on my first telescope my budget is £300 and I’m hoping to be able to get something that allows me to look more than just craters on the moon.

id appreciate any advice on which way to go here.

I would start by looking at a 6" f8 dob. FLO sell several versions:
