M104 - The Sombrero Galaxy

Never thought I would catch this one as my normal horizon to the South is over the neighbours houses at around 25 degrees,, just noticed that the Sombrero was about to clear a gap between the two houses over their garages (20 Degrees) so gave it a go. It's right down in the murk but its there, small and beautiful, really need a larger scope for this one.

30 Mins worth (some more to come) - 5 x 6Min subs, ED80 + 400D on the EQ5 as usual.

A bit low for me as well Brendan , but that looks sweet up against the backdrop . closer in it does process well .

The Sombrero is a striking Galaxy, and even if it is small, everything that defines this object is in the Image.

You done a good job getting this. Very nice.
