Quite remarkable!

By a strange coincidence I decided to grab a quick sketch of Piccolomini too- my new planetary eyepiece arrived and gives me a magnification of 312x- what a view! You got some nice details there Mike, and I see we agree rather well in the details!

Hi Paul,

thanks for the kind comments, i also have enjoyed looking at your sketch. What is the planetary eyepiece you used?

I used a pentax 5mm XO, but could not go higher as i'm waiting for a 4mm and 2.8 tak ortho to arrive from germany.

Then i can push up the mag!
