BST Starguider question

Can anyone advise as to whether a 25mm BST Starguider (Explorer) will work reasonably well in an f/8 Dob? I have conflicting reports on this puppy. I have the 12mm version and that works very well indeed.

I had that very same eyepiece and it worked very well in a 6" f/8 refractor. Don't know about a Dob though, as I am not allowed anything with mirrors in! 🙂

Yes at f/8

No at f/5

 I found that the 18,12 and 8mm BST's worked well in my F5 scope, but not the 25mm.

I don’t find it bad in my f/5.9 so at f/8 it should be pretty good.
