With the current flog-fest of members selling off hunks of night time gear in favour of solar equipment, we can expect the equivalent of a nuclear winter, think like the movie "the day After Tomorrow" where the weather was broken. This will mean that there won't be enough clouds left for during the night, and so things might be looking up for the night shift.

OTOH I'm guessing that most of the stuff will change hands thus causing a further redistribution of the clouds. No wonder the weather is hard to forecast.
