The combination of the Coathanger against the backdrop and that dark nebula (Anchor?) is amazing. Lovely picture.

What is that? Is that Ptolemys cluster? 

Kind of reminds me when I saw it once by accident with my scope when I was admiring the stars. I didn't even know What I was looking at until I realized I might be looking at a cluster.

Regardles, excellent image, very bright and detailed. All those stars make me wonder every time.

Lovely Adam. I guess APP to stack? It does a good job or merging round core APO stars with fast newton stars to give pseudo CDK stars! I tried this once and the auto integration set the diffraction protection better than I could have estimated prior to integration. 

If I only saw your Tak 180 ED a couple of months ago...it is so very tempting, too much so.

Very mice Adam. The Coathanger is a fairly easy naked-eye object here (Even for my rubbish dark sight). but you have to know where to look as it's buried in the Milky Way.
