I took a few (15 sec.) subs of Thor's Helment last weekend, just for the fun of it. Boy is it a faint one for a DSLR and a scope in Alt/Az. So, this image isn't great...But it's been a target I wanted to try for a long time.

It's definitely there. Excellent.

Good to see other unmodded cameras getting faint objects.

How many subs was this, and what DSLR do you use.

Is that a vignetting "arc" artifact in your image?

I suffered real problems with that, but think I have resolved this by switching to 2" fittings for the camera now.
