Orion & Skywatcher Electric Focusers

Hi All,

I have had the Orion Accu Focuser for years and the Skywatcher version arrived today after a long wait for stock to arrive, but FLO got it out ASAP as usual.

My question is for the day I plug the wrong handset into the wrong motor, will it destroy some circuit inside? They have the same colour wires in the same order on the plugs, but I notice the Orion can be turned (focused) by hand with the handset not plugged in,  where as the Skywatcher cannot, but is that because the Orion is well used?

AFAIK they are both the same.

I have and use both the SW and the Orion versions.

They are identical, only the name varies.
