Hi everyone, joined yesterday, not sure where to start!

I've had a long time interest in astronomy, but have had a few years break.

Nothing extreme in my kit, a simple dobsonian Heritage 400 which suits me.

I was a member some while back when I lived in east Wales, but I can't seem to get access to the account, usual reasons, change of email address passwords etc etc.

Anyway, glad to be on board. I would appreciate any advice regarding a planned visit to the Elan valley, places to stay and locations to use perhaps.
