Busy building one last SaturnV.
This one will be 4.2 meter high. That includes the Launchplatform and the Crawler.

In this assembly these two last two parts are shown as a brown and a blue block. Busy drawing...
SaturnV already partially printed.

I already started printing the caterpillar-shoes for the Crawler and also the central elevator walls.
We'll need 464(!) of these shoes...
461 to go...

How are you going make the liquid hydrogen and oxygen? ;)

We'll see about that in a few weeks, but you forgot to mention petrol. The Crawler runs on petrol...😉 That crawler consumes LOTS of it..!
In case of liquid hydrogen and oxygen shortage here, I'll call my good friend Elon..😁

Just sitting in my garden looking at the top of the house at the soffits (which I painted a few weeks ago). I know these are 5m up so your model is really impressive at 4.2 metres! I can see the scale very clearly.

It will be like the rocket garden at the Kennedy space centre in Florida, good effort ! 😁

Ok there are a few others going even higher but this SaturnV ....one word : IMPRESSIVE .!!!
What about this one....

Bet there was a bit of twitching before the chutes came out.

So much for me building 4' rockets from Lego. ;)

Those cleats from the crawler track give some idea of the scale, awesome.
Just out of interest, how many spools will this consume, and I wonder, how many 3D printers?😊

How many printers..?  Five, Peter has one, Michel also and for the moment I have 3.
How many spools do we need, well don't know yet, but this project will consume lots of filament.

JWST is done, so time to move on with this project.
During that previous build our printers kept on running.
These are ready to be installed under SaturnV mobile launcher. Thick ⵁ50mm aluminium poles, 240mm high, I made 6 of these.

Mobile launcher platform measures 1.2x1.4m

Peter is busy drawing a crane to put beside SaturnV. It will not really be used to course.
It will take  rather long time to finish this scale model. So now and then we will hang something on that crane to simulate action.

The horizontal liftarm is about 1m long.
not finished yet...
