Comet Lulin - At Last!!!

I finally got around 30 minutes of clearish skies, enough to get the 80mm on it and rattle off 15 frames for stacking. I would have framed it a bit better, but had I done so I would have probably missed the opportunity.

Great shot! Maybe a bit on the blue side colourwise.

I only got ten subs of this before it needed reframing, then I lost my guide star and had a hell of a job finding it again!

That's a nice shot ! - confirms that there is a tail - I'm sure now that I could just detect that with averted vision though my 4" refractor tonight.

Couldn't resist another re-process of this data.

After all it's cloudy again, not much chance of getting any more images, so gotta keep myself occupied somehow.

(I think the processing to show the green was too much, as a lot of the images on the Web show the comet as being quite blue, so I'm leaving it like this).
