jgs001 Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Something I've just remembered. When I started out, I came across a link to a Binocular Observing handbook. It's used by IFAS for a certification, but the targets are good. You can get it here as a PDF.It's good on several levels, it gives an indication of where in the sky to look, they are split into grades of difficulty, the book provides areas for recording your observations and sketching the view. I'm going to have a go at this myself (I printed it out over a year ago, and apart from a few quick looks, never filled any in... Give me something more productive to do than just meandering around with the bins whilst the scope is active imaging. The Bino 110 challenge ...
