WO Megrez 72 vs Celestron Astromaster 90 EQ

I am considering getting WO M72 but was just wondering if I would see more than my Celestron Astromaster 90 EQ. The Celestron is a 90 mm refractor focal length 1000mm and its optics was given 92 points in a recent S@N review. From reports, it suggest that the much better optics of the WO would out perform the larger aperture Celestron starter scope. Would value your views.

I don't think the WO 72 will show you more than your Celestron 90mm. The WO images will be very nice and the colour correction will be better but I think the 90mm will still outperform it on light grasp and resolution when the viewing conditions allow.

I agree with John - the WO72 is a lovely refractor, but the aperture is quite limited so it's not going to show more. The focal lengths are quite different though, so the WO72 will show a wider field of view than the Celestron.
