Guide for March 2009

I've finally got around to producing the Monthly Guide - for March 2009.

It's a different format than before, aimed more towards the beginner than the more advanced. I'd be interested in comments if any (Good or Bad).

Looks good Ant, plenty of information. What time of night are the star charts produced for ? I know when I was trying to work things out, that was what through me a lot.

Yes that would help wouldn't it.

Mid month (15th) at midnight GMT.

So these charts are valid for...

Dec 15th@ 06:00am

Jan 15th @ 04:00am

Feb 15th @ 02:00am

March 15th @ 12:00 Midnight

April 15th @10:00pm

May 15th @8:00pm (it's not actually dark at that time though).

Ant, that's a great guide. Looks like Saturn is the only planet worth looking at this months - might have to do some galaxy hunting in Virgo! (assuming it's not cloudy).
