Astronomy Opportunities in Lanzarote ?

Well, I've ghot fed up waiting to see the sun shine again (let alone the night sky) so I've booked a week in Lazarote - does anyone know of any astronomy opportunities / outings available there ?

I know in Tenerife they do a ride up Moun Tiede and the guys from the observatory take you somewhere nice and dark and give you a sky tour etc

I just wondered if anyone knows of anything similar on Lanzarote ? For example, Can you still drive around the Mount Timanfaya national park at night as I should think that would be pretty dark ?
