backlash adjustments

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the Stargazer lounge I am hoping someone may be able to help.

I am struggling with my backlash adjustment on my scope, I am using an 8" Celestron SC Advanced VX, I am hooked into a Pegasus power-box ultimate and using a Pegasus focus cube.

I am trying to set up the autofocus in NINA, I cant get is to run properly, I am starting to wonder if there is to much backlash in the scope focus rather than focus cube.

Has anyone had any experience with this setup, if anyone can recommend some approximate settings as a starting point which I can refine from.

Any assistance would greatly appreciated.
