Sam
This is 2hr 24mins, 48 X 3mins subs a ISO 1600 through a Canon 1000D. Quick a tricky little target as the outer spiral arms are very faint whilst the core is quite bright, but full of detail. Last I had to battle high cloud which ruined quite a few subs. The best 48 were stacked in DSS and then processed in PixInsight. I hope you like it!Sam

Sam
Thanks Rog and Neil. I've done a bit more processing to try and get rid of some of the background noise:Sam
RichieJarvis
Nice result Sam....Glad to see you managed to capture the arms - I've not managed that on this object yet!Cheers,Richie
Sam
Thanks Richie. It's quite a tricky one as the core is very bright and the outer arms don't seem to have much in them - it kind of reminds me of M33 a bit.Sam
barkis
You've achieved a very good result here Sam.It is a splendid little Galaxy, and I can understand the processing difficulty it presented you with. Anyway, you succeeded. Ron.
