Cairngorm NLC timelapse

Just returned from a few days at my brother’s house in the Cairngorms. On Monday night the sky cleared for a lovely noctilucent cloud display so we headed up to the slopes of Cairngorm to capture some shots and this timelapse. I used a 200mm lens for this, so there’s some nice detail in the clouds. Hope you enjoy!

Apparently I need to download a codec for my W10 lappy to view the video for 79p from the Microsoft Store!

 

Edit: nor does it play on my android phone.

very nice. its HEVC aka h265 so will only work on certain modern browsers. love the clouds

W10, video displays on edge chromium but not chrome
