On July 1st, a new EU regulation came into force that requires all goods of any value purchased in China (and coming from China) to be subject to VAT.

Has anybody purchased something directly from ZWO (astronomy-imaging-camera.com) to a EU country recently?

this applies to anything coming into the EU from non EU territories had an email from "LaPoste" in France and also expect to pay import duties
