Starsense Explorer App - BST setting

Recommended Posts

Changed my phone and went to update the app and realign. When setting location there is no option to select BST. I am sure it was there before. Instead it shows standard time zone and I have changed it to +1.0.   Is this a recent change? Have others noticed this? Have I done this right for London area?  Also, if I select Current Location instead of manually entering it the time zone switches straight back to +0.0

I would expect the software to recognise GMT and BST and adjust accordingly. The time zone should be left at 0.00 as this is the correct time zone for the UK.

But BST is one hour on from GMT?

The time zone for the UK is 0.00 irrespective of if is GMT or BST. The "standard time zone" relates to where you are in the world. Or at least that's how I expect the software to work.

Ok, thank you.. I will give it a run based on that.
