I think it was lost John as I missed this one.

All I can say is for 2 min subs this is awesome work. Running man is clearly visible and the stars are pin points at that exposure time.

Can't wait till you do some guided work and maybe 6 min exposures.

Cheers Mick. If the opportunity presents itself, I'm going to grab a whole load more data at this sort of time or maybe 3 minutes and see what happens. I've got some cables due to arrive so I can start connecting things up for guiding.

What you do get with the C80ED is very little, if any false colour (caused by chromatic aberration, the lenses inability to focus all three colours of light at the same point). This means, the resolution is better than a comparable size achromat, and you don't get blue/violet fringes around brighter objects. As Mick said, the colours are down to the longer exposures the camera can achive. Visually you won't see the colour, your eyes aren't sensitive enough.
