iMerge Help?

Hi gang,

I know this software program is easy for most everyone to use...but not me, it seems.

I have a couple of nice lunar landscapes I want to merge together. But, I can't seem to stitch them. Could someone "walk" me through the steps for blending these two (or more) in iMerge or whatever else is available?

Hi Doug

Firstly your images need to be BMP or FIT files to work on iMerge.

Auto align to "correlation"

Tick the "feathering" feature

Monochrome is your choice depending on what you are working on.

Untick the "auto brighten" feature

Then just import images, and drag them together there or there abouts then pick a definable section and right click on it.

This should pull the two sections perfectly together with no seams visible.

I agree with Jamie completely except the unticking of the "Auto Brighten" option.

I found that an absolute godsend! I'd suggest trying it both ways.

Thanks for your suggestion...I did not try that feature...but will do so from now on...
