The 2 active regions are full of detail today.

The picture hints at what's visible, but isn't as sharp as I'd like it to have been.  That's phone cameras for you.

Snap. I found using an OIII filter helped with a bit more contrast, the phone camera just doesn’t produce the sharpness at the eyepiece though. Great little session this morning.

Nice one. I’ve found an OIII filter helps with contrast too, if you haven’t got a continuum.

You could try stacking a video clip, that would probably sharp things up.

IB20, Stu, thanks for the tips about OIII and continuum filters.

I tried processing a video but I think the hand holding ruined the image stability. I did manage to process one of the better frames in Lightroom though.
