goddasgirl2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Share Posted May 12, 2021 I am watching How the Universe Works and I am learning about Jupiter so that is where I think I will start I will work on leaning about Jupiter for a couple months and then move on to learning about Arcturus but wont get to view Jupiter in the early morning sky till late summer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ags Posted May 12, 2021 Share Posted May 12, 2021 Have you installed the free program Stellarium? It lets you plan your observing sessions easily. Why not make a project looking at the bright stars visible at the moment like Arcturus and Vega. You can compare their color and brightness to the information about them like their temperature, size and distance. Wikipedia is a very good source of information.
