Ethos and Dew

I got an 8mm Ethos for Christmas The views are great, but it seems incredibly prone to dew much, much worse than my other eyepieces! Does anyone else have the same problem? It looks like dew straps are a necessity

Maybe you are so excited when you are using the ethos, you are breathing a little harder

Haven't noticed by 8E being more dew-prone than anything else

They are enourmous and the sheer size of the metal body eyepieçe maybe prone to water condensation

I've not had that problem with my Ethos 13mm as yet. I tend to keep my eyepieces a bit warmer than my scope before I use them - maybe that helps ?.
