Solar finder question

Recommended Posts

What do people think is a good make of solar finder?

Also... this may be a silly question, but how are you supposed to align a solar finder? You can't use a nearby chimney like you would with a finder scope.

Thanks

Sol-searcher, Lacerta or Svbony for a conventional solar finder. I now use a solar filter on my RACI finder which I find better and easier to use and of course as it fits your regular finder alignments is no problem.

Aha! That's a good idea. I didn't think of putting Baader film on my regular finder! Genius ! 🤣
