Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina 18.04.21

Hi,

First clear-ish evening in a couple of weeks. There was still quite a bit of thin cloud but I was able to get a bit of detail nonetheless. I use a asi224mc camera but I think I will just capture in mono mode from now on - could just not get a natural colour with my data so in the end, just converted it to greyscale. Even now, the grey seems a bit off to me but maybe I've just been looking at it too long! 🙃

On a related note, does anyone capture with a mono camera that they could recommend?

Equipment: Meade 2080, aforementioned asi224mc, Baader UV-IR Cut filter, 2x Barlow.

1000 images captured, best 40% used. PIPP, Autostekkert!3, Registax6, Gimp2.1
