Hi all.

Can anyone advise what I would require to attach my wifes canon 250d to a 300p focuser? I would like to try and use it to get some lunar pics.

Thank you

Baz

In principle you just need a t ring with either 2inch or 1.25inch adapter that goes in the focuser similar to an eyepiece. The complication is that often the focuser may not have enough inward travel to bring the camera sensor to the focus plane. It really depends on the individual telescope model. Thus can be solved with a Barlow, you probably won't fit all of the moon in the frame but it's worth trying a 300mm scope can give superb resolution.

Hi Nik.

So I would require an M48 t ring. And either of the stock 1.25" or 2" skywatcher extensions.  Attach the camera to the focuser with this combo and hope it gains focus. If not I do have a Barlow so I can give this a try.

All in all then I just need a t ring.

Thanks for your help 👍
