Tim
After spending 5 hours or so proving that it was too "moony" to do DSOs justice, I noticed M13 was moving into position. Just managed 17 x 180secs (51 mins) before the clouds rolled in. So I added this to some previous data from the dslr just to highlight the dimmer stars.Nice to see a favourite object working its way round again GSO 8" F4 with off axis guiding + a bit of data from C9.25 @ F6.3CheersTJ

Sam
That's a lovely image TJ, very nice colour and tight stars - and plenty of resolution into the centre. It's funny to think that M13 is coming back into view so soon.am

Tim
Which one is that Doc? There are two fuzzies off to the lower left, one barely visible on this reduced size pic.CheersTJ
Doc
Actually TJ just had a better look at this in C du C and if you zoom in there's loads more galaxies. I cannot match your stars with C du C.That little cluster of 3 stars in the lower right is Nu Corona Borealis
Tim
Hmm, ok, in that case I might come back to it and give it a couple of hours or more, try and see what fuzzies appear.
barkis
Well it was a casual greeting to the re emerging M13 TJ; but nothing casual about the Image, You've kicked of the globular season with a fine amalgam here matey. Ron.
