Moon with a Mak

From last night at prime focus with a Skywatcher 127Mak and Nikon D70.

Processed in RAW with RAW Therapee with a touch of colour.

This is my first Moon shot adding a little colour.

One of my unused Christmas presents is some A4 printing canvas, so I'm going to have a crack at a canvas Moon print.

Anybody else printing Moon shots, what paper do you use ?

Very nice Paul, you've brought out some colour too..

As for printing I use the Fuji inkjet printer paper, with my Epson printer it gives a true representation of the colour. You have to do a few test prints to get the setings right.

I have an Epson R200 and just printing some test prints.

I only have 15 canvas sheets, so I don't want to go and muck any up.

I only look at the Moon and this scope is a great companion.

Price V's Quality this baby Mak takes some beating.

It might be worth you scanning around the Epson forums...

Try these guys...They are brill for Photoshop developing and printing mostly pro's but gentle on the amateurs..
