Another beast has arrived

Just received my Explore Scientific 17 mm 92° eyepiece. Veritable beast of an EP, and a worthy replacement for the Nagler 17T4.

SN 00007 makes it one of the first 10 produced.  That's a bit of a collectors item.

Just for comparison, here it is next to the Nagler 17T4, which is no lightweight either

As someone who uses mostly small orthoscopics, I often worry about what damage would be caused to the tiny TAO if I dropped it on my patio in the dark. I'm guessing with something like that, you worry about cracking your patio slabs.
