That does seem to happen quite often. That said, there is a favourable libration for Mare Orientale so I'll be pointing my scope at that. Glorious clear skies here at the moment!

It's supposed to clear here later but that will be too late for me, but thankfully it's supposed to be clear tomorrow night and Saturday night. 

I'm going to get as much imaging in as possible and some observing too.

Seems to happen to me in my area as well. Very rare to get a clear night with no moon. That's why my Ha filter seems to get the most use. Got a couple of hours on the heart and soul nebula during last night's nearly full moon.
